Air Coolers

Air Coolers
Capacity Rating: 27 watts at a 0 °C temperature differenceExample Applications: Ideal for small electronic enclosures, small refrigerators and OEM applications.Features: This is our smallest air cooler. It is powered by 12 VDC, has a NEMA 12 rating, and can be customized to achieve NEMA 4. Like all of our air coolers, it incorporates extender blocks between the thermoelectric module and the cold sink. These enable the cooler to have un-impeded airflow on the cold side while still allowing for up to 25 mm thick insulation in the walls of the enclosure. Plus, it also improves performance at high temperature differences. This cooler has the lowest power consumption of any of our standard air coolers making it compatible with all of our temperature controllers.

Model AC-046 Capacity Rating: 46 watts at a 0 °C temperature differenceExample Applications: Ideal for small to medium-sized electronic enclosures, refrigerators, and reagent coolers in biomedical equipment.Features: This cooler is powered by 24 VDC, has a NEMA 12 rating, and can be customized to achieve NEMA 4. It uses two thermoelectric modules and our proprietary high-density extruded heat sinks to yield a good combination of performance and low cost. The low power consumption makes this cooler compatible with the TC-24-10, TC-24-12, and the TC-24-25 series temperature controllers. Like all of our coolers, it can be easily customized to meet your production requirements: special wiring configurations, smaller heat sinks, different operating voltages, lower power consumption, etcetera.

Model AC-073 Capacity Rating: 73 watts at a 0 °C temperature differenceExample Applications: Biomedical equipment and medium sized electronics enclosures.Features: This cooler is powered by 24 VDC, has a NEMA 12 rating, and can be customized to achieve NEMA 4. It uses two large thermoelectric modules and a high-density bonded-fin heat sink that provide excellent performance in a compact footprint. It is compatible with the TC-24-12 and TC-24-25 series temperature controllers.

Model AC-140 Capacity Rating: 140 watts at a 0 °C temperature differenceExample Applications: Electronic equipment enclosures, telecommunications equipment, and camera enclosures.Features: Specially designed to remove heat from an enclosure while maintaining the internal temperature at or near ambient. Low power consumption and high efficiency yield low operating costs and make it a good choice when the power supply must be located inside the enclosure. It also works with our IP-65 rated (outdoor) power supply. It has a sealed fan, corrosion protection, and maintains an enclosure's NEMA 4 rating. Multiple units can be easily controlled by one temperature controller.

Model AC-162 Capacity Rating: 162 watts at a 0 °C temperature differenceExample Applications: Electronic enclosures, refrigerators and biomedical equipment where cooling to near-freezing temperatures is desired.Features: Six thermoelectric modules, extender blocks, and a bonded-fin heat sink and cold sink make this cooler very efficient and compact for its capacity. The bonded-fin cold sink keeps the temperature difference between the enclosure's air and the cold sink to a minimum. This is especially useful for cooling to temperatures near 0 °C when a less efficient cold sink would allow condensation to freeze on it and restrict airflow. This cooler is powered by 24 VDC, is rated to NEMA 12, and can be customized to achieve NEMA 4. It is compatible with the TC-24-25 series temperature controllers.

Model AC-194 Capacity Rating: 194 watts at a 0 °C temperature differenceExample Applications: Ideal for telecommunications equipment, electronics enclosures, battery boxes and refrigerators.Features: This cooler is powered by 48 VDC and is rated to maintain the enclosure's NEMA 4 rating. The hot-side fan is sealed against moisture, and the heat sink uses marine-grade anodizing to prevent corrosion. The input wires are routed on the cold side of the cooler, making it easy to power via wiring from inside the enclosure although care should be taken so that condensation is not allowed to form on the cold sink.
